Anyone who knows me knows I'm a water purist! I appreciate exceptional water the way a wine connoisseur appreciates a fine vintage. Where it comes from, its natural mineral composition, and the environment that produced it matter- because your water will either create or take from matter within you!
And thanks to Niko, I've discovered something worth sharing!
While shopping at a European market in Austin, Nick found a remarkable mineral water from Russia called Essentuki, available in two distinct varieties: No. 4 and No. 17.
These naturally mineralized waters originate from deep underground aquifers in the northern foothills of Russia's magnificent Greater Caucasus Mountains, where groundwater interacts with ancient mineral-rich rock formations before emerging through the region's celebrated mineral springs.
ESSENTUKI NO. 4 — EVERYDAY MINERAL WATER
Niko explains that No. 4 is the variety she prefers for more regular drinking. Its natural mineral content gives it a character entirely different from ordinary purified or commercially processed drinking water.
ESSENTUKI NO. 17 — A TRADITIONAL THERAPEUTIC MINERAL WATER
No. 17 has a substantially higher mineral concentration and has traditionally been used in European and Russian mineral-water therapies, including spa and wellness settings for ingestion and soaking.
